The Best Osaka Clubs

Sam and Dave Umeda: A young, hip crowd can be found in this sharp, modern club. The fluorescent lights and large dance floor make this club very unique. Perhaps the best night to come is Salsa night on Tuesday to get a free lesson. Order a cocktail from a bartender and make it with a little flavor. Enjoy some hip hop music and western style food before taking to the dance floor for the remainder of the night.

Club Karma: Japanese clubs are known for their dancing, and Club Karma offers plenty of that. This club is famous for their techno and rock 'n 'roll. DJ's from across the country come to play at this club for events on the weekend. On weekdays, the clubs has great food, a hip bar and excellent service. The servers are also friendly to foreigners.

Club Quattro: This is the place to go to sample young, talented, upcoming bands. Club Quattro has live bands almost every night, including some of the top performers in all of Japan on the weekend. The club offers a full bar including cocktails and wine, as well as all types of beers. Plan to stay late when coming to Club Quattro as locals like to drink here well into the night. 

Blue Note: Live music is always coming from this jazz nightclub. This club is very well-known and always attracts the best national and international artists. They perform two live sets each night. Along with jazz, blue note has contemporary folk artists and Latin music as well. Expect outstanding service, great food and well-mixed drinks. The club is not open as late as some, so it is important to get reservations early as the place can get packed later in the night.

Triangle Club: Walk up the stairs to a the first floor of the Triangle Club and step right out onto the dance floor. The stage and bar are located in the back of the room. Move up to the second floor to find a bar and a view down onto the dance floor. Lay down on the beds along the outside of the area to enjoy a drink or move upstairs to the top floor and jump into the jacuzzi.
